Laminate Floating Floors Gold Coast
Laminate floor is a multi-layer synthetic flooring product fused together with a laminations process, summarising Laminate flooring simulates wood with a photographic applique layer under a clear protective layer.
Engineered Timber Floating Floors Gold Coast
Engineered timber floor is a floor board made up of more than one piece of timber, it actually has 12 layers of thinly cut hardwood and softwood plantation timbers which are glued together to increase strength and stability of the top layer of solid timber.
What does the difference between Engineered and Laminate Floating Floors mean to you?
If you are looking for a modern touch that is affordable and effective, laminate floating floors maybe the option you need in your Gold Coast home, but if you are willing to pay extra, engineered timber flooring is the way to go.
Laminate flooring contains thin pressed wood board with an image of wood on top, on the other hand, engineered timber flooring is made with high quality ply wood topped with a thin layer of real wood. When I decided to lay a new floor, Paul came round and discussed everything with me. I was initally looking to do the common areas of the house but due to the way Paul layed the floor we were actually able to do even more due to the minimal wastage.
